Field to Florist: Enhancing Your Floral Skills

Workshop Description
This one-day workshop is especially for those floral designers interested in exploring floral art from field
into creative arrangements. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to refine your floral skills using
locally grown September flowers from Joy Hustle flower fields at Windhover Farm. You will be immersed
in an environment that is inspiring, peaceful and full of creativity.
Skills you will gain: The day will deepen your knowledge of growing your own florals in planting zones 3 to
4. You will expand your skills in designing bridal bouquets or centerpieces supported by the guidance of
professional floral designers. Lindsey and Kelly who have combined over 20 years of experience in the
floral design industry. You will be invited to connect with other creatives in a beautiful setting.

 Group discussions and networking
 Demonstrations of bouquet and centre piece design
 1:1 hands-on instruction
 All flowers to design and take home a bouquet or centrepiece
 Flower field tour
 Digital photo images taken of your floral art pieces (fee based & optional)

Lindsey
With an eye for detail, Lindsey's drive for design is fueled by her love of flowers and art. Inspired by
nature, interior design, fine art and costume design, Lindsey loves designing florals with an aesthetic that
is intentionally imperfectly perfect.
Kelly
Her love of flowers blossomed early in life and was nurtured by her family's gardening traditions and time
spent surrounded by nature's beauty. Over time, this fondness grew into a deep appreciation for the
artistry, symbolism, and emotional connections that flowers offer. Taking inspiration from nature, colour
and her memories, Kelly loves designs that are filled with texture, dimension, colour and those that tell a
story.
